The Committees' Responsibilities
Finance and Personnel Committee
The
Finance and Personnel Committee is responsible for all matters relating to the
strategic workings of the Parish Council including the finances, policies,
employment of staff, communication systems and health and safety.
Environment and Community Committee
The
Environment and Community Committee is responsible for developing policies and
initiatives that will improve the health and wellbeing of those living within
the parish. It will support and enhance community led activities wherever
possible, maintain and enhance street furniture and identify ways to mitigate
the Climate Emergency locally.
Assets and Facilities Committee
The
Assets and Facilities Committee is responsible for managing, maintaining and
enhancing Parish Council assets and facilities provided by the Parish Council
and

matters relating to:
Beechfield
Centre, Car Park, Play Area and Field, Parks, open spaces and play areas owned
or managed by the Parish Council including Griggs Field, 2 Allotment sites,
Facilities at Riverside Park Fremington Quay and the Queen Elizabeth II Sports
Facility in Tews Lane.
Cemetery
Fremington Parish Council owns and maintains the cemetery in Old School Lane, Fremington. The cemetery has spaces for burials and cremations and is administrated by the Parish, Cemetery Regulations and Charges can be found on our website under Fremington Cemetery.
