The Parish Council employs five part-time staff

The main responsibilities are as follows:

  • The Clerk is responsible for the overall management of the Council’s work, advising the Council and ensuring its decisions are carried out. The Clerk is responsible for all the Council’s legal, financial and administrative affairs. The Clerk is contracted for 33 hours a week and evening meetings as required.
  • Services Officers are responsible for the efficient and effective day to day running of the office. They have primary responsibility for specific areas of the Council’s work and work 24.5 and 20 hours per week respectively and on occasion extra hours by arrangement.
  • The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the overall maintenance of the public areas.
  • The Council employ an outside contractor for grass cutting in the Parish.
