The Parish Council has resolved to undertake a Neighbourhood Plan for the parish.
The parish has received neighbourhood designation and the Council has started the initial process of creating a steering group to oversee the process. All parishioners will be consulted during the process, but if you have a particular interest please do let the Parish Council know.

The parish has recently suffered a spate of graffiti on bus shelters and road signs. The Parish Council has removed the graffiti from Parish Council property and the vandalism has been reported to the Police. Unesco Biosphere Reserve
We have been asked by the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve to invite members of the public to visit their website. This reserve is one of only 511 in the world and we are fortunate to have it in our area.
The latest Police Report is held in the Parish Office and can be seen by visiting the Parish Office during opening hours.
Following a number of complaints regarding dog fouling, we would like to advise you that if you are aware of persistent problems you are welcome to contact the office. It is helpful if you can tell us if there is a regular time at which the offence occurs and any details that you feel would be helpful for us to pass on to the Dog Warden to enable them to catch up with offenders.
Safer North Devon
The Parish Council holds awareness leaflets from Safer North Devon, your local Community Safety Partnership, please call in to the office if you would like a copy.
Theft Prevention & Victim Assistance
The Parish Council holds a very informative book on identity theft prevention and victim assistance, and members of the public are welcome to come into the office and make use of the information
Change of Name
The Council agreed at a recent meeting not to take forward a change of name at the present time
The Parish Council runs two allotment sites one at Muddlebridge and one at Babbages. Please contact the Parish Office should you wish to go on the waiting list.
