Finance

Each year the Parish Council calculates the money it needs to raise to provide its services.  Then it deducts the income which it expects to receive from fees and charges such as the hire of facilities, agency work on behalf of the District Council as a Liaison Office to leave the amount it requires to spend on the services and any capital projects which are planned for the year ahead. This sum, called the precept, is the amount it levies on North Devon District Council and which is collected by them as a proportion of the total council tax paid by Fremington Parish households.

For the financial year 2009/2010 the precept was £109675
